Support the WLHC

The Wisconsin Library Heritage Center (WLHC) is a program of the Wisconsin Library Association Foundation (WLAF).  Although it is anticipated that a large amount of on-going funding will not be required to sustain the WLHC, there will be some expenses. In addition, the kinds of projects that the WLHC will be able to pursue in the future will be largely dictated by the availability of funding.

In order to get the Wisconsin Library Heritage Center off to a good start, the WLAF Board has agreed to allow the WLHC to designate individuals or organizations, on a one-time basis, as Founding Contributors to the WLHC.  These individuals or organizations will receive a certificate recognizing their status as a Founding Contributor and will be listed as a Founding Contributor on the WLHC website.

You can become a Founding Contributor by contributing a minimum of $100 to the Wisconsin Library Association Foundation and designating a minimum of that amount to the Wisconsin Library Heritage Center. Of course, contributions at any level will be appreciated and acknowledged.  All contributions are tax deductible.

To contribute, make a check out to the WLA Foundation and indicate the amount of the contribution for the Wisconsin Library Heritage Center. Send your check to WLA, 5250 E Terrace Drive, Suite A1, Madison, WI 53718-8345.

You can also make an online contribution by following these directions: Go to the WLA home page http://www.wla.lib.wi.us/ . Click the “login” button. Then click on “Contribute to WLAF” at the top of the page. Follow the login instructions for new or existing users to access the contribution form. If the entire amount of your contribution is going to the WLHC, enter your total contribution on the form and select “Wisconsin Library Heritage Center (WLHC)” to designate your contribution appropriately. If only a portion of your contribution is going to the WLHC, do not select "Wisconsin Library Heritage Center". Instead, you will need to follow up with an email to  wlaf@scls.lib.wi.us indicating the amount of your contribution going to the WLHC.
