The Wisconsin Library Association Foundation is very proud and pleased to have established the Wisconsin Library Heritage Center. WLHC will provide a wonderful opportunity for the public and for the library community to learn more about Wisconsin's rich library heritage. The WLAF Board wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to all members of the WLHC Steering Committee, especially its Chair, Larry T. Nix.

Hi Larry,
Great site! Helps me channel my love for and interest in library history (native Wisconsinite). Hope to become involved in some way. Will keep an eye out for artifacts. In library school right now, MLIS at UW-Milwaukee with an archives concentration. Let me know of any ad hoc volunteer opportunities.

Best,
Stefanie Rose

Larry,

Thank you so much for the display that you created, put up and took down at the Door County Library. It generated much public interest. A broader thank you for beginning the Wisconsin Library Heritage Center within the Wisconsin Library Association Foundation.

You're certainly welcome. It was a great reason to visit Door County.
